Day 20 - Part 2

Today I was joined by Clare & Jack for the 53 mile leg.

The leg was from Corby to Ely via Holme Fen the lowest point and other than a rather chilly headwind for most of the journey, all went well.

Both Clare and Jack cycled the distance, Clare on a mountain bike (hat off to her) and Jack was on Clare’s late fathers bike reputed to be circa 1980s.

I remember Clare’s dad, Kevin, cycling on that bicycle when we cycled from Birmingham to Llancatfan in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital, in the mid 1990s.

Fantastic effort to my niece Clare and my future nephew Jack. Well done and thanks for keeping me company 🙂

As it has been a rather late night and I have another 50+ miles tomorrow, this will be to only post today. Sleep tight.
