Well Russ from RSS and his wife Ali should now be well on their way in the backup vehicle with my bags and bikes. They’re heading for the Lake District tonight before continuing their journey tomorrow into then Inverness area and then on Sunday they will complete the final leg to the very North of Scotland.
I’m off in the morning and have booked a Greyhound coach from Cardiff Central to Bristol airport, then an EasyJet flight to Inverness followed by a Scotrail train to Thurso.
I need to leave home around 09:15 tomorrow and should get to my hotel in Thurso about 22:00, a long day ahead of me. I did think about cycling but the thought lasted less than a micro second and besides, my bikes are on the backup vehicle 🙂
