After a frantic morning of packing bags, tools and spares, I mounted the 3 bikes on the car and drove to Chieveley Services on the M4/A34 junction. There I met up with Russ Jordan of RSS and transferred the bikes and bags to the backup vehicle for their long journey to Scotland.
